Bill Hudspeth is an Analyst-Programmer 2 at the Earth Data Analysis Center at the University of New Mexico. At EDAC he works on a wide variety of development projects including natural resource oriented, web-mapping and analysis applications related to EDAC’s Earth Science Information Partnership with NASA, and web-based data delivery applications as a part of EDAC’s clearinghouse. He is the primary developer of the Public Health Applications in Remote Sensing (PHAiRS) web client, a project funded by NASA’s REASoN program that serves as the public entry point for data access and visualization of dust concentration measurements over the Southwest. Prior to joining EDAC in 2001, he worked in the private sector, developing GIS and mapping products for cultural resource projects throughout the Southwest. He received his B.A. in Biology and Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz in 1984, an M.S. in Genetics from UC Berkeley in 1986, an M.A. in Anthropology from UNM in 1994, and a PhD in Anthropology from UNM in 2000.
