Tom Budge retired in July 2014 after working at EDAC for 39 years. He managed the Image Processing Division. He participated in projects of varying types including forestry and rangeland ecosystem inventory, mineral exploration both within the US and internationally, agricultural inventory, construction of large area digital mosaics, rectification of historical aerial imagery and maps, and international treaty verification and monitoring.
Mr. Budge also worked extensively with Sandia National Laboratories on the use of remote sensing for arms control and treaty monitoring. He also acquired and processed imagery for use on maritime and land border dispute issues presented before the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands.
